Wake up where the clouds are far behind me...

Yes, I know I should be revising but it's so sunny! I've been out a few times this week and thought my camera deserved some sun as well. I think this summer will be the one I have thousands of photos of...
These are just a few out of hundreds, not all taken by me and I have edited them slightly on Lightroom. There are some pretty b&w ones I might post too if I can find the time :)

Hope you like them,

Somedays

I'm having such an FML day. Science all day- it makes me feel stupid, I just don't get half of the stuff we're supposed to get and teacher's frustration doesn't help. I also have a habit of embarrassing myself. In one lesson a guy asked me a question and I went bright red. Don't get me wrong, I am in no way shape or form remotely attracted to him, he's a creep! But just because people were staring at me I suddenly got really embarrassed and went beetroot. The harder I tried to be normal the more fucking red I went -.- I'm going red now just thinking about it, CRINGE. And now he probably thinks I fancy him eve though he's about 2ft tall.I went home for 5 mins after school, made a phone call that lasted 10mins longer than it should have, meaning I practically ran to work, realising half way I didn't have my swimming costume (I work in a swimming pool as a helper and have to wear shorts, a t-shirt and a swimming costume is, of course, an essential -.-) I didn't have time to go back so I rushed there and ran through the park to the pool desperate to be on time, of course they didn't appreciate my efforts. I was then told I could go 5mins early as they didn't need me, sounds nice but I felt so rejected, it pissed me off as I had to just get out te pool and leave in front of everyone. After all this I really wanted a lift home as I was so pissed off, but no, my parents don't answer their phones. I was on the verge of tears after such a shit day when I realised I was walking through the muddiest part of the park that was completely flooded. FML. I just burst int tears, shoved my iPod in and walked home.

Autumn

Oh autumn, how I love you. I'm sitting here wearing a woolly jumper, a hoodie and a scarf and I'm so cosy, that's just one of the reasons I love this time of year. The cold bright mornings with dew on the grass and sun shining between orange leaves. Snuggling up in the dark evenings with hot chocolate and a blanket. Walking through parks or woods surrounded by colour, your feet crunching on the ground beneath you. Red noses peeking out between hats and scarves, the smell of warm food on a cold day and the ever-closer excitement of Christmas...

I keep getting little reminders of all these things. Like déjà vu in small doses...I'm just a romantic in a good mood listening to Bombay Bicycle Club and feeling happy :) Here's a load of pictures for you, they're big because I forgot to change the size on the uploader, but never mind :)

I hope you are all well and enjoying the cold weather as much as me! Thank you for reading :) Georgina x

P.S. I always go on spotify to find my blog titles and I was so happy to find Bombay Bicycle Club have a song called Autumn...a coincidence that makes my blog title see very unimaginative!

P.P.S. All photos from weheartit.com they make me proud to be ginger as all the girls seem to have red hair!

Planning Spontaneity Without the Planning

Ok I'm gonna tell you about my evening. Some it will make you think I'm a complete moron/drunk/freak/crazy person/bitch but I'm not. Well I don't think I am...most of the time, anyway, read and judge (but not too harshly cos I do want you to like me)

A friend of a friend is in a band and was playing at a little gig, in a club, a bus ride away. He said he'd get us cheap tickets and we thought it would be a good laugh so we decided to go. 7 of us went to my friend's house first and were drinking (we all have a better time and are more relaxed when we drink, however sad that sounds) So we go the bus there, payed to get in the club and realised that there were only about 15 other people there, all just sat round watching the band.
(this isn't my photo, www.wehearit.com is where I get most pictures from)

I know this is really rude but we couldn't sit there for much longer, so after about half an hour (when the band we came to see had finished) we decided to leave and hang out with the guys from the band. We went to the park and hung round for a bit, and met some other guys who were a bit annoying but whatever.

So after hanging around for ages 2 of the girls had gone home so there were 5 of us left. 2 others decided to go but missed the bus so the 5 of us were trying to sort out how we'd get home, ringing taxi companies and checking bus times etc. So we were standing there getting stressed when the annoying guys from the park pulled over by us, in their car.

They offered us a lift just as taxi pulled up so we had to make a quick decision. It was so manic...I just saw 2 of my friends getting in the taxi (shouting at the three of us not to get in the car) and thought if i went over they'd drive away before i got there and I'd be stranded so I just got in the car. Stupid I know. The one thing your mum teaches you- not to get in stranger's cars...but there we were, three girls with three guys (who'd been drinking) driving around hoping they would actually take us home :/

(It wasn't like the above...but y'know, nice picture)

They did get us home safely, thank god. We went to the park first, i dunno why, it wasn't my idea but we just sat there for about 20mins chatting, they were nice guys :) So yer they took us home, my brother was angry that we got a lift from strangers but whatever, we were too drunk to make a rational decision. We're safe and that's all that matters. (<--cheeesy)

So you'll think I'm mad when I say this but we're gonna meet up with the guys tomorrow. Is that weird? I don't think so, they were nice and we wont go in their car again cos that was a stupid thing to do, so what's the problem? Some of my friends think it's 'irresponsible' I dunno, what do you think? Ergh it's so complicated trying to please everyone but still have fun and do what I want to do!

So yes, I know I hyped this up to be an amazing story and it was bit shit but y'know, I'm a boring person, I don't take risks normally. Someone said 'well you can learn from the mistake' and I thought, was it a mistake? If nothing bad happens is it still a mistake or just a stupid thing? I dunno, I over think.

Thanks for reading- it was a bit of a shaggy dog story, I apologise

Another Sunny Day

Oh dear, my bad-blogger-syndrome is back. Instead of making another post full of apologies and excuses I will try and make an interesting one :) Well to be honest, I haven't had the most exciting of weeks, here's how it went (with a load of pretty pictures to make it look nice!):

Monday- the first day back after the holidays always seems to be the funniest, I suppose it's because I hadn't seen my friends that much over easter. I did get a bit stressed though with so much art to do, most of this was taken out on my mum :/ The old people's home was boring as per and I didn't go to young farmers, I was too busy stressing!

Tuesday- In the morning I had my sixth form interview which was utterly pointless and should not be awarded that title. Later on- even though I'm allowed to miss double PE every week for art, I couldn't be bothered to clear the stuff from my lonely corner in the art room, and it was so sunny outside! So I played badminton and golf- basically sat on the field talking to my friends, good old Mr PE man even stuck up for us when the evil PE lady told us off.

Wednesday- I finally took in my life drawing to show my art teacher, I got some nice comments as well as a lot of funny looks from people looking at the fat naked people all over my desk

Thursday- my parents went away, meaning there was no one to wake me up...even thought I set 4 alarms I woke up at 11 o'clock and practically ran to school, haha I made it just in time for maths :P I also had to lie and say I'd been at the orthodontist, they'll never know ;)

Friday- another sunny day, finished off with double french, it sounds evil but it can be pretty fun!
Saturday- did lots of art (again!) then went to the park for a BBQ which was good, it was a very random bunch of folk but good times all the same!

So yes, a pretty average week in the life of me :) I'm so glad the sun's back out, I do love the winter but nothing can beat a few rays, it's got us all planning for the summer- 12 weeks of nothingness and time, sounds like heaven :)

Thanks for reading, I hope you're all well and enjoying the lovely weather (if you've been lucky like us!)
