Yes, I know I should be revising but it's so sunny! I've been out a few times this week and thought my camera deserved some sun as well. I think this summer will be the one I have thousands of photos of...

Ok, I now it's a few days late but HAPPY NEW YEAR!

I will soon be doing a post on resolutions but I am very busy at the mo with revising and sitting on my arse, feeling bad for not revising. January exams, bad times.

The End of an Era

As I said in my my last post, Friday was my last day of school- we're now on study leave for GCSEs. Even though we'll be going back for exams and a few revision sessions it was really sad! Our leavers assembly was amazing-our head of year had rung people's parents and got their baby photos and the class photos from primary school- embarrassing but hilarious! And afterwards everyone realised how much fun we actually have at school, I'm gonna miss it, I am going to sixth form but it's on a different site so won't be quite the same.

In the last week everyone had cameras it was crazy- there are about 50 albums on facebook, I'm tagged in 83 pictures so far, pretty impressive! Here are a few, I know I shouldn't put photos of people up without their permission but they're all my friends and they were on fb anyway!

On the last day we all wore white shirts so we could get them signed...
On Friday we had a a half day so our whole year went to the park which was cool but weird- we never all hang around together so some of the groups merged but it was a bit awkward. It was good to mix with different people though. So yer...that's it, end of school. I suppose I have to really start working now, I've done quite a bit but some people started revising ages ago which is a bit worrying :/

Apologies

Oh I'm sorry, I'm a terrible blogger :/ I have not posted for ages which really isn't acceptable! Revision is just so uninspiring that I haven't felt very creative plus I don't have much time in my busy schedule of sleep and work-avoiding...

So this is a sort of 'courtesy post' just to say hey, I'm still here, still blogging, still grateful for lovely followers, your comments and awards not to mention all your amazing blogs! Maybe when I'm feeling more inspired and energetic I'll think of a half decent post, not just some stupid ramblings :P

Just a quick update- I had an amazing day today, I think summer has finally arrived. I got a break from work, took photos, went shopping and saw my best friends, one of whom uploaded all her music onto my iPod...1209 amazing songs :D What more could a girl ask for?

Time you enjoy wasting is not wasted time

Ahh I do love the holidays...although these ones are proving pretty stressful, I made myself a lovely revision timetable which I have not followed at all, so I have a huge back log of work to do. I'm trying to do everything I said I would but it's left me with about 9hours of stuff to do tomorrow...like that's gonna happen!

I was supposed to get up today but slept in til 2, damn! I then went to my friend's house for her art photoshoot so did no work...again. It just makes me feel guilty :(

So what have I been doing with all my time? I don't have a clue! Facebook does take over a bit and I've done a bit of art and lots of sleeping I suppose. I love this picture below (weheartit.com) and I kinda copied it to put in my art diary...mine is nowhere near as cool but ahh well :)

So yer, I'm off to go and waste some more time :D Hope you're all good, thanks for reading.

A good day with bad elements

So today I got up to do a cross country race in the snow. I do not know why I run, it keeps me fit and it's addictive, but turning up to muddy fields (in this case snowy) in the freezing cold weather just to get hot, sweaty and beaten by everybody, I just don't get it.

But today was different, I really enjoyed it. They cut out the huge hill and stream because of the snow so it was lovely and the alternative route was picture perfect. And to top it all off I didn't come last :D I came second last. Yes, rubbish, but someone has to, no?
So, bad elements, this wasn't just a pun on the chilly weather. Today my brother went back to uni after his christmas holiday. This isn't too big of a deal but it is sad because I really do miss him when he's gone, we get on well and talk a lot so it really is weird when he's not here.

Another devil- revision, I am currently revising for my science modules but it's so boring! I just cuddle up on my bed, turn the radio on and write notes, the only bearable way.

My last complaint- braces. Not the 'cool vintage hold up your trousers' type, the horrible 'you have wonky teeth so we're going to put metal things on them' type. I had mine tightened yesterday so they hurt :(
