It Will Follow The Rain

Day 05 - A picture of your favourite memory.

I pretty much have all my favourite photos stuck on my bedroom wall, the one above is of my three best friends, taken in a photo booth in about year 8. I will admit it's not a specific memory, I wasn't even there! But it's more the memory of that time. We really were the best of friends and had the greatest time, we're still close but nothing compared to then.

I decided to take a few more pictures of photos on my wall, they're mostly pretty old but I thought they looked nice all put together :) So here's a picture of lots of good memories...
Hope you like them :)

A House?

"Mum, I think I'll tidy my room"
"Oh good, the estate agent's coming tomorrow to value the house. We looked round a house and want to make an offer."

Oh. Brilliant. This is the first I've heard of this. Since when did we want to move house? Since when did we decide there was a reason to? Oh right yeah, I forgot...it's not 'we' it's 'they'. Their stupid little tag-team that holds the majority against me as my brother doesn't seem to be bothered about much at all.

This is just typical my parents. It won't happen. They'll realise it's much easier to stay where we are and give up on the idea for a few years. But still...I cant help thinking about it. I have mixed feelings, half of me thinks it would be an adventure, although in the same town it would be a fresh place to have more times and make more memories, plus it's an amazing house that's bigger and better than ours....but the other part thinks of the old times. This is OUR home. I've spent ages making my room how it is, decorating, sticking, ordering. The garden holds countless memories that wouldn't be forgotton but wouldn't be so vivid. I don't want another family in OUR home, changing things and making it theirs! I've grown up here and wouldn't want to leave it.

As I said- it's not going to happen. Well I hope not.

Last Day

It was my last day of school today, sad times :(

Short but Sweet

Next week is my last week of school, it's so strange, it's gone so quickly. It's sounds so cliché but I do remember year 7, being all innocent and lost amongst the big people. I'm a really sentimental person so whilst everyone's saying "I can't wait to get out of this place" I'm like "Think of all the memories, it's the end of an era." But it's true, there have been so many 'times'- good and bad but brilliant all the same.
It makes me think of my last day of primary scool when my brother said to me "Honestly, just make the most of it." and I sat there with my friends on the last lunchtime and decided to kind of take a freeze frame of that moment...I dunno, like appreciate that last bit of school. So my last goodbye memory of primary school is a brick wall in a dingy, grey playground. That's just what I happened to look at. It sounds sad, not something you'd want to remember, but I like it, it was a really grey day but just that picture I have in my mind brings back so many memories.

Hmmm, I hope that made sense, I confuse myself so I wouldn't be surprised if I confuse you! Thanks for reading anyway!
